Richard has built Hewsons into Australia’s leading edge executive coaching organisation, with a proven track record for success across many industries. Richard is responsible for the selection and development of the Hewsons team and ensuring consistency in coaching methodologies and outcomes

Richard’s experience is strong, having worked with high-profile clients such as Ampol, Boral, Caltex, Cisco Systems, IAG, Johnson & Johnson, Kellogg Brown & Root, and Westpac. His key achievements are the increase of sales in one company by almost 100% in what was traditionally a bad month; in another, the increased happiness, energy and morale of a leader and his team. Another impressive result achieved was the resolution of conflict in an international company which saved nearly $100,000 per month in costs

Richard has 23 years experience in running businesses and has been involved in the research and development of people handling and training for over 15 years. He was previously employed in the insurance and superannuation sectors, where he was credited with bringing a particular insurance agency into the top 3% in the world for over seven consecutive years

This experience in addition to the past 13 years in executive coaching has instilled in him knowledge, ability and insight into the demands faced by today’s executives
